My foundational #convictions include my deep rooted faith in the #Trinity and their importance in each person’s life. Everything stems from the Trinity because they work together in every individual’s life in order to help them walk through life. I greatly value loyalty because it brings people together and makes them whole. With loyalty, there are no lies and nothing is hidden. Everything is out in the open and laid out on the table. When loyalty is not present, there is much that is unclear and unstable. Proverbs 15:24 talks about how, “A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.”
Furthermore, I value #hard-work and the importance it holds over life in society. Moving to America in 2003 from Bulgaria, I quickly learned what hard-work looks like. My father’s English was pretty limited, therefore the job he started working at was not a very good one. The more I continued to learn about life in the United States and get adjusted to it, the faster I learned how without hard-work, it is very hard to be successful in this country. Proverbs 6:10-12 discusses, “A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest, and poverty will come upon you like a robber, and want like an armed man. A worthless person, a wicked man, goes about with crooked speech.” Because my father did not receive the same opportunities as many other people did when they came to the United States, he had to work harder than everyone else to support his family of eight, therefore if he did not work hard, he would have not been able to survive in this tough environment.

Another characteristic that I value greatly is #love. I Corinthians 3:1-3 reveals to people the importance of love; “If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all #mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.” The Bible also talks about how we need to love others because He first loved us. The topic of love is a pretty major topic in our world because everything stems from love.
In addition to love, faith is a very important quality to have because it roots us in how we should be. The way I can achieve love and serve others is by holding onto my faith. With this kind of faith, I can also uphold #stability and #consistency in my life. I have been told by numerous people that I am a rock and that my stability is what helps them stay rooted and sane.
