Hello! I'm Teodora

I am a Sociology Undergraduate student from Biola University. I was born in Sofia, Bulgaria and moved to San Diego in 2003 with my family. I come from a family of 9, and have four brothers and two sisters. I am the second-to-last in my family, and would consider my family very close because of the circumstances that led us to move to the United States. I spent my childhood growing up in San Diego, attending Westview High School, until I moved to La Mirada to attend Biola University in 2014.

I began as a Nursing major when I first began at Biola University, and quickly realized that this was not the career for me, so I decided to switch to Sociology because of my passion for people. The more I interacted with professors and other students in my major, the more I realized I had made the perfect decision in choosing this major. I hope to become a Social Worker by attending Graduate School somewhere in the Los Angeles or San Diego area.

Some of my passions include people and spending time outdoors, doing activities like surfing, hiking, traveling, and reading.  I also love cooking and making things with my hands, including writing and DIY crafts. Furthermore, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends. These, along with church, are what help me wind down at the end of the day and relax from the busy and stressful life I have.
