Service
On Sunday April 15th, I went on a homeless outreach with my friend. We got a couple meals from McDonald's, in addition to socks and toiletries that we knew would be beneficial.
As we were driving around Whittier, CA looking for who to distribute the food and toiletries to, we spotted some friends that we have helped out before. This is Dougie and a couple of his other friends (not pictured).
Going on homeless outreaches is something very dear to my heart. I have been going on them for the past 8 years and love being able to bless people who are different than me and less fortunate. God calls us to care for the hungry and the ones who do not have much because it is as if we are doing for Him. I believe it is very important to follow the words of Matthew 25:35; "For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me."
